Don’t know what youtube has changed in the uploading process but this is the SIXTH try in uploading this video. Been at it for nearly a full DAY……
Part 1 of our new series on raising rabbits looks at equipment needed for rabbit raising as well as helpful hints in getting started. This series has been in the works for six months as we have tried to capture video of kits at various ages and stages of growth.
This new series is about raising rabbits for MEAT, i.e, to EAT. Be forewarned that we will discuss rabbit raising in that format and later videos will show some butchering – with a warning before it actually comes up. So for the PETA crowd, men of the other gender and the “we won’t eat anything with eyes” crowd, you’ll probably want to skip these videos.

One day in Pennsylvania a dog finds a passed out infant rabbit in my back yard (the dog is Cooper who you may know from videos past). My dad brings the unconscious rabbit inside. He warms up and regains consciousness. The infant starts to be nursed back to health.

Here is a short video of Ison from Anse La Verdue. He is going to join the rabbit project, he has already been trained, me and Sebastian are going to give him his starting rabbits and I am going to give him wire and raise funds for him to have his own hutches. He is doing this to help his family.

Here’s an update on the bunnies in our first video. One has gone to a new home and three babies and two adults are left. We homeschool 3 boys, age 9, 7, and 2 (ok the third one we mainly direct and manage). We are in northwest Indiana if you feel the need to add a rabbit to your family! Our video focuses on the character building lesson that the rabbit family has taught us. It has been a joy to watch the kids finally feel self-driven responsibility for the care. The 9-year-old does the …
