So I show and raise rabbits with ARBA and 4-H. My favorite Jr doe does not get the concept of posing. It’s not that she’s not upright, it’s that she will not stay in pose once I take my hands away! She just slumps back down into sitting position and relaxes.
My doe is 3 months old, show weight (1 lb 12 oz) and a perfect example of the breed if not for the posing.
Any techniques or suggestions?
Thanks a million!
ugh thats tough… I show and raise Hollands and Nethelands and they pose upright also.
Mostly I hold up a treat for them and let them eat it when they are posing. As you know you hold theie head up with your fingers
Also what I did with my one who was not posing is I pushed it up into a position that was too tight and head was too high and when it relaxed it relaxed right where I wanted it to! Now she sits in her cage posed all the time!
Good Luck I hope this was a help.
