PLease don't breed, with over 33,000 ending up in rescues each year and that's just is handed over, others are sold for meat (cat and dog food) or for live hawk food, or laboratory experimentation, just enjoy your bunny or the babies may end up in rescues, once the owners get bored or move etc.
References :
Three to for litters a year is enough for a doe. They usually have a litter of four to five each time. It is extremely difficult to sex a baby rabbit if under four months, although the doe's vulva is closer to the anal opening than a bucks penis. I bought my female lionhead for 35 pound at nine weeks old but I have heard of them going for upwards of 60 pounds. Never mate when she is moulting, ensure she is in season before trying to mate and the doe should be put to the buck in his hutch and not the other way round. Hope that helps x
References :
Rabbit Lopaedia, a complete guide to rabbit care by Meg Brown and Virginia Richardson.
