what are the pros and cons of owning these rabbits
Lionheads are lovely rabbits. They're very attractive, small and compact. They generally have nice, level temperaments. They're lively and fun to watch, although they can be a little jumpy. They don't mind a fuss and a cuddle. If you get a Lionhead with a mane it will need to be brushed now and then, and if it has a skirt it is best to clip it so it doesn't get matted. That is really the only con, they're great little rabbits and make brilliant pets.

Pros: Lionhead are very small, timid, cuddly, and have excellent temperaments.
Cons: Taking care of their fur is always a hassle.

They are lovely friendly animals and are very adorable but you will have to groom them a lot and if they get fleas or mites since they are so furry they can be difficult to get out

well i have a lionhead
they are lovely they dont seem to mind having a cuddle but mine doesnt really like been picked up but once picked up he is ok.
he does get fed up after a while though and starts to struggle to be up down.
i dont have to brush mine to often bbecause he doesnt have that bigger mane.
but they are great
its so nice to just see him playing with his mate and just running in his run!

Their lovely and cute… but you got to think about whether you have time to groom its mane and skirt if it has one.
when my lop eared lionhead was very young, he looked like dougal from magic roundabout cos his hair was long and flowing. but when he molted in the summer he lost most of that but his mane grew back alot bigger and fluffier.
I have another lionhead as well, he isnt a lop but he doesnt have much of a mane either, he has tufty bits around his head.
But good luck whatever you decide to do.

PROS: very nice little rabbits and enjoy being handled. Very cute and fluffy.
CONS: Not only do they get matted but are also prone to dental problems (same as dwarfs and lops). Therefore need dental checks
