My friends 12 foot Burmese python grabbing some food in the form of a rabbit. His cage is 4′8′4′ and is shared by levels with a red tail boa.
Linoleum is set as the snakes floor to slow him down as he has no problem striking at a human especially when hungry.
The conversation came up about Live VS. Frozen with the owner of the snake…Blaze does indeed refuse frozen/thawed. The first two years of his life the current owner did not own him, someone else did. They fed him live only, so he will not switch now. As for the other two snakes, he breeds rats so this is much easier and cheaper than buying frozen.

this is my video of my flemish giants 1 doe and 1 buck and my lion head/standard rex who is really camara shy she dosen’t like anyone.
but all these rats i practucally produced by my own i have been breeding for 2 to 3 years ever sense i was 17 years old now i am 22 years old.
I have had the two black and white dumbo girls that are in the fish tank for all there life ever sense they were little pups i raised them ever sense they are about 2 years old or so i bred them 1 time every other 2 months for a rest they don’t get over bred or stay with the males for when they are pregnant.
they get fed a very high diet i just ran out of the rat blocks so i had to buy them a subsitute of food until i get paid again.
but if you need any help with breeding rat or anything i am you girl. i know almost anything about rats the pros and the cons about breeding rats.
