If you want to make a SAFE outdoor pen for your piggies or bunnies –
Here’s what you need:
Grids: 52
ZipTies-Heavy Duty – LOTS OF THEM
Something to cover the top -LIGHTWEIGHT – we used a piece of heavy duty vinyl
Another great use for those grids … We had a lot of grids left over after making a C&C cage for the bunny & guinea pigs so I wanted to let them outside to eat the grass and lounge around – WITHOUT the worry of Kasper eating any plants we have that may hurt him or the chance of any hawk eyeing them and swooping down to get them so…….
We made a huge outside pen using 4 grids long by 3 grids Deep and 2 grids High. Then we also did the whole top and bottom. They are all attached with the heavy duty zip ties. We attached a piece of heavy duty vinyl to keep sun and rain off them. Inside we put a couple of pieces of movable lightweight wood so they can get off the grids if they want. The piece of wood I used in the video was to prop up the cage in the center – but after a while, we didn’t even need it, so that was used a a partial flooring.
It is totally portable, just pick it up and move it to where the grass is more lush every so often. Great ‘LAWNMOWER”, just a little slower – LOL. They love the fresh grass. Just MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT TREAT YOUR GRASS WITH ANY PESTICIDES.
Try it out, your small critters will love it – they can get fresh air and sunshine without the worry of anything getting to them.

http://www.pet-rabbit-toys.com In this episode we look at Peggy’s bunny Momo to determine whether Momo is a Jersey Wooly or Lion Head.
Our Rabbit Types Series is meant to help rabbit owners determine the breed and color of their rabbit while also learning more about different rabbit breeds and their history.
NOTE! Before anyone gets too excited, We do not encourage the breeding of rabbits (although we are not necessarily anti breeder) nor are we suggesting you should buy a purebred rabbit. This purpose of this series is for education and entertainment. Anyone interested in adding a bunny to their life is encouraged to check the local shelters first before considering buying from other sources.
