thanks! I was a …
thanks! I was a vegetarian until I started raising my own animals. I eat them in season, though, so really, about 75% of my year is vegetarian. I don’t really eat meat until the cooler months set in. I don’t think our bodies are made to eat meat continually. Living where I do I have the great beauty of 4 seasons and it makes it completely possible to eat in season. My husband and I call it “Ecotarianism”. Thanks for stopping by!

so cute.
i think …
i think it’s great that you treat them so nicely even if they are used for meat. i’m a vegetarian because i don’t agree with how the animals are treated or handled. if people could raise and treat their meat animals the way you guys do, i would definatley start to eat meat again.
so cute.

very true! I just hate that people think you can’t love your animals prior to culling them in. have you taken in any animals yet this season? we are planning on three rabbits, a goat and about 30 chickens next Saturday!

firstly…can you …
firstly…can you try writing so people can really understand you sans having to read your statement 12 times before getting it?
secondly, why wouldn’t I be kind to my animals? That’s the very reason we don’t eat animals that haven’t lived at our farm. I have no idea the way they had been treated before death.
thirdly,
I’m pretty sure you are a moron and with writing like yours, I’m guessing you can’t possibly understand our food philosophies.

it gets scooped or scraped out. It doesn’t smell and it gets put under the hutches because we practice vermiculture (worm breeding). It’s a mini eco system that creates great compost for the garden.
